Press release - Atlanta, GA, USA - April 8, 2015
We have been made aware of some concerns raised about our up and coming events therefore we have scheduled a press conference about these events. April 10-12 (Atlanta) #Freaknik April 18 (Savannah) #FreaknikOC April 18 (Atlanta) #LifeRide
The cause of Life Ride was born out of my turbo brother’s murder, JR Green. The Life Ride is a celebration of life whereas patrons listen to their deceased favorite music and ride in a group formation through the City of Atlanta, specifically down Peachtree St. These are not partiers, criminals or hooligans but grieving friends and morning family members.
Every one is invited and there is no cost to join, our only request is that you sign up before showing up at FreaknikWeekend.com. We only ask for your email address and again there is no cost. iFreaknik produced this tradition as our very own Day of the Dead. The goal is to allow personal closure for individuals and peace to people terrified by funerals and cemeteries. We apologize for any inconvenience however each #LifeRide member rides in memory of a loved one that passed. So if on Saturday night, you see a row of cars cruising up Peachtree st. with their hazards on. Know that they aren't headed to club, out to cause harm or peddle children and drugs.
They are the remaining loved ones of people that passed over and they are simply celebrating good memories of someone no longer here.
